PSS – Trade from NWC, ScanBaltic, WMED, Adriatic, Canary to Canada & Mexico WC
Due to strong demand of containers and consequent difficulties to supply needed equipment from Europe to Canada WC (Vancouver) and Mexico WC (Ensenada, Guaymas, Mazatlan, Manzanillo and Lazaro Cardenas), MSC will increase the current Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all cargo moving from NWC, ScanBaltic, West Med, Adriatic & Canary Islands to Canada & Mexico West Coast.
As from 27 November 2021 and until further notice, the PSS will increase as follows:
- from current USD 1’500 to USD 2’500 per 20’ (all equipment types)
- from current USD 2’000 to USD 3’000 per 40’ (all equipment types)
Any other elements of the price, for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
