Transatlantic Network Update
Dear Customers,
MSC, along with its 2M partner Maersk Line, plans to revise its transatlantic network (North Europe to the USA) from week 35, in order to improve transit times and offer better port pair coverage.
A new string NEUATL4 will be added to the network, with the following rotation:
- NEUATL 1: Antwerp – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Norfolk – Charleston – Houston – Norfolk
- NEUATL 2: Bremerhaven – Felixstowe – Antwerp – Le Havre – New York - Baltimore – Norfolk – Savannah – New York
- NEUATL 3: Le Havre - Antwerp – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven - Charleston - Veracruz – Altamira – New Orleans – Mobile – Freeport
- NEUATL 4: Antwerp - Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Felixstowe – News York – Savannah – Port Everglades – Charleston
At the same time, we plan to adjust the existing three strings so net capacity across the network will remain similar to today’s levels.
Various details around terminals, berth windows, cut-offs etc. are still being evaluated and we will communicate more information in due course.
