MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is delighted to announce our sponsoring and participation in the World Cashew Conference – Journees Nationales des Exporteurs de Cajou de Cote d’Ivoire 2022 (WCC-JNECCI) trade fair in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, 16-18 February.
Our San Pedro branch manager, Carine Kouakou will give a presentation introducing MSC and our services for cashew exports on 17 February 11:45-11:55 am GMT.
As a leading provider of transportation and logistics services to African exporters of cashews, MSC will have representatives at stand 7-8 at the Radisson Blu Hotel to explain our expertise, reliability and flexibility in handling peak season cashew exports.
The conference will be a hybrid event – anyone who cannot attend in person but is still interested in learning about the cashew export process can register here for free.
The cashew is the most popular nut in the world. On its own, the Ivory Coast makes up 25% of global production, and African cashew production accounts for 60%. Over 1 million tons of cashews were produced in the Ivory Coast in 2021.
Our local teams in Africa have a strong expertise in all the aspects related to cashew nut transportation. In Africa, MSC is present in over 40 countries, with offices in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Guinea, Senegal, Benin – some of the major producing countries. We’re proud of our credibility and our deep understanding when it comes to the world of cashew nut.
Every single cashew journey we organize for our customers receives the highest level of attention and care. Our highly experienced teams support each step of the export process, from guiding customers through appropriate and country-specific procedures, to suggesting advice around shipment preparation.
