MSC to Offer Reefer Expertise at Worldfood India Summit

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, a leader in global transportation, will exhibit at Worldfood India in New Delhi on 3-5 November to discuss the vast potential of the country’s food markets.

MSC experts will discuss their expertise in frozen and chilled reefer cargo, such as frozen meat, grains, vegetables, poultry, onions, and other foods, and explain how MSC links India with all continents through sea, road and rail transportation networks.

The event will be held in the presence of the Prime Minister of India, and is organised jointly by The Ministry of Food Processing Industries and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

It aims to showcase India’s strengths in food processing and related sectors, foster partnerships between domestic and international businesses, facilitate investment flows and encourage sourcing from India.

MSC is well established in India with 16 offices and 20 sub-agents and also operates feeder vessel services connecting the country’s ports, as well as international services.

MSC recently announced a faster connection between the regional transhipment hub of Colombo in Sri Lanka and Europe, including a direct call at Gioia Tauro in the Mediterranean.
