MSC announces the following new freight all kind (FAK1) rates export Asia to Europe.
Effective as from 1 May 2024 but not beyond 14 May 2024 from all Asian ports (including Japan, Korea & Southeast Asia) to North Europe, the new rates in US Dollars unless otherwise specified:

Base port to base port rates. Out-ports are subject to usual TAO/TAD.
The above rates are:
- Inclusive of the Base Rate (i.e. ocean freight rate) and following surcharges:
- GFS (Global Fuel Surcharge) – VATOS USD 162/324/324 valid for May 2024.
- ECA (Emission Control Area) to North Europe only, rates are subject to ECA of USD 15 per TEU (Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, UK, Netherlands, France) and USD 52 per TEU (Nordic and Baltic remaining countries).
- Subject to:
- CLS (Carbon Limitation Surcharge) – VATOS USD 20 per TEU for China Exports.
- CRS (Carbon Review Surcharge) to NWC – VATOS EURO 21 per TEU out of non-Chinese Asian origins (Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea).
- CRS (Carbon Review Surcharge) to MED-ADRIATIC-BLACK SEA – VATOS EURO 32 per TEU out of non-Chinese Asian origins (Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea).
