MSC El Salvador took home the "Best Shipping Company - Global Service, Import and Export of 2020” award at the Salvadoran Association of Freight Forwarders (ASAC) end of year gala, which was held on 17 December in San Salvador.
The award is the results of a survey that ASAC carried out among its members, with MSC being one of ten carriers that were voted upon for this category. This is not the first time MSC El Salvador is awarded by the Association. In 2018, the agency was named “Best Ocean Carrier” and came in first place for the “Best Export Services” prize and in third place for “Best Import Services”. In 2019, ASAC expanded the Ocean Carrier category to award companies for import and export services under one single award, with MSC ranking in second place for “Best Global Ocean Carrier”.
Abel Sandoval, Managing Director of MSC El Salvador, commented: “We are honoured to receive this award. It is a validation of the hard work and efforts that the entire MSC El Salvador team put towards ensuring MSC can be recognised as a top carrier in the country, always striving to offer the most efficient solutions for our customers, even in the most adverse of times.”
