MSC Participates in Flagship JOC Container Trade Europe Conference in Germany

MSC is pleased to be sponsoring the JOC Container Trade Europe Conference in Hamburg on 18-20 September for the third consecutive year.

Considered one of the most significant trade events in the calendar for container shipping and logistics professionals, the three-day conference attracts leading industry experts and delegates from around the globe.

The central theme of 2018 edition is “Managing Supply Chain Choke Points Amid a Tightening Markets” that will be discussed through panels and key notes lead by specialists and leader in the shipping industry.

MSC will also participate in a panel discussion at the event. Laurent Audaz, Head of P&I Insurance, Legal and Claims at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. will take part to the case study “Cutting Off the Flow of Counterfeit Goods” (from 3:45 to 4:45 pm – in Saal 1-2). Together with other authorities in the transport and logistics field, he will discuss working to stop the transport of counterfeit goods on container ships, the challenges faced, and what more can be done collaboratively to stop the shipment of fake goods.
