Emergency Operation Surcharge – Trade From NWC-Scanbaltic, West Mediterranean & Adriatic to Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, Bahamas & Mexico all Ports

Due to the increased risk in crossing Red Sea, we have been forced to re-route vessels via Cape of Good Hope. This will affect our operation efficiency, having a direct impact on our costs due to additional vessels needed to maintain the schedule and shortage of equipment.

To maintain our continued level of service, from February 1st, 2024 we will implement an Emergency Operation Surcharge (EOS) of:

Ex NWC-SCANBALT: 500 USD / 20’, 1000 USD / 40’ and 1000 USD for reefers,
Ex WEST MEDITERRANEAN-ADRIATIC: 1200 USD / 20’, 1500 USD / 40’ and 2000 USD for reefers,
applicable for all containers to cover additional costs.

We are working to reduce the impact on our schedule integrity.

Any other elements of the price, for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
