MSC is delighted to be sponsoring the JOC Container Trade Europe Conference in Hamburg on 18-20 September.
Considered one of the most significant trade events in the calendar for container shipping and logistics businesses, the three-day conference attracts delegates from around the globe.
Among this year’s panelists:
MSC Germany Chief Commercial Officer Nils Kahn will share a platform with freight forwarder Fr. Meyer Sohn to discuss forest products on Monday 18 September. Nils will explain how MSC’s strength in close, personal client relationships and expertise in forest products transportation have helped nurture the relationship with Fr. Meyer Sohn over many years.
Meanwhile on 20 September, MSC Austria Director Frederik Wexel will explain the importance of various Mediterranean Gateway ports in linking continental Europe with Asia and other parts of the world. He will be joined by a representative from Trieste Marine Terminal, which is gaining prominence among shippers thanks to recent investments and improving rail connections.
JOC has tagged 2017 a year of disruption following unprecedented consolidation in the shipping sector and poses the question: “how should shippers strategically and tactically approach container transportation in the current, rapidly evolving environment?”
Senior managers from MSC are looking forward to discussing the answers to this and many other questions with customers at the event.
We look forward to seeing you at the Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall.
