Overweight surcharge - Trade from Asia to North Europe (inc. Scandinavia and Baltic)

MSC will apply an overweight surcharge (OVW) to all 20ft cargo from Asia to North Europe (including Scandinavia and Baltic) exceeding 18 tons.

As from 01 May 2025 until further notice, the OVW will be charged at: USD 300 / 20’ for dry containers. Any other elements of the price, as indicated in the last EU Price Announcements for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
