MSC is pleased to announce the start of port call at Almeria in Spain, enabling direct service to key hubs on the US East Coast such as New York, Norfolk, Miami and Houston.

The weekly call, starting beginning of December, will give customers more options for loading, discharging and logistics solutions through MSC’s transshipment hub in Valencia.

Important cargo shipped from Almeria include fertilizers, agricultural products, minerals and construction and industry materials.

The new service will connect with MSC’s recently-enhanced MEDUSEC and MEDGULF services as well as California Express.
