An attack on the Yemeni port of Hodeidah on Monday 17th August inflicted widespread damage on major port infrastructure, seriously impacting all operations for the foreseeable future.

The port is closed until further notice. With immediate effect, MSC can no longer accept any Hodeidah-bound cargo on board our vessels. All cargo which is currently at sea, destined for Hodeidah will be diverted to the port of ADEN.

Customers who have cargo booked with MSC will be contacted by their local office.
