MSC CIO to Speak on Digital Technology at Flagship TPM Conference in USA

MSC is proud to participate in Trans-Pacific Maritime (TPM) conference – the best-attended conference for the Trans-Pacific and global container shipping industry – held in Long Beach, California from March 3-6.

The conference draws more than 2,400 shippers, carriers, port officials, freight forwarders, government officials, rail operators and many others each year. In MSC’s 19th consecutive year at the event, more than 35 senior representatives of the company, all of them involved in Trans-Pacific trade, will be present to meet with customers and discuss their shipping needs.

Taking part in a talk on March 4, Andre Simha, Chief Information Officer at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A, and Chairman of a new industry-wide digital container shipping association, will discuss how the increasing use of digital technology is opening up new opportunities for both shippers and customers.

TPM Challenge Cup

Building on our passion for the sea, MSC will sponsor and enter its own boat in the TPM Challenge Cup 2019.

The Challenge Cup, which takes place on March 3, is an exciting sailing race in Long Beach Harbor that takes place alongside the TPM conference, offering opportunities for team building, fierce competition and high seas adventure.   

It follows MSC’s international sailing race debut at the Barcolana 50 in Trieste, Italy.
