MSC would like to inform you that we will increase the amount of our export Misdeclaration Fee (CMD) as from 1 April 2022 to USD 3500/container on all cargo from Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to all destinations.

The fee is applicable in the following circumstances:

• Any change of named account, after the booking has been confirmed by MSC and in the event the rate level is lower than what was initially booked.
• Any misuse of contract detected (different commodities, port pairs, and/or accounts as the ones for which rates were initially filed).
