MSC will be implementing temporary terms to the Import Container Detention Hire charges.

Any Container Detention Hire charges that are incurred by businesses during the period between 27 March 2020 to 27 April 2020 (both days inclusive) will be waived on the Import trades.

Please note that this applies to dry containers and Container Hire only.

Any on wharf port storage and any other port related charges beyond MSC control will be invoiced directly by the port company involved.  

These are challenging times and we firmly believe it is important that our clients are aware of the terms in place around Container Hire at MSC.
