MSC scoops Silver Award in Germany

The Hamburg-based IT team from MSC Germany collected a silver award last week at a prestigious ceremony in Berlin.

The recognition was in the Digitization of Processes category, in the Digital Champion Awards.

Run by German publication, Wirtschaftswoche, the awards acknowledge those who have shown exceptional innovation and technical delivery in the creation of an IT based solution.

MSC’s selection in the shortlisting was as a result of its work on the Cloud BL project, which is designed to revolutionize the Bill of Loading process. 

Hubert Hoffman, Chief Information Officer at MSC Hamburg said: “We are so pleased to have been recognised among our commercial peers for our innovation and creativity. “We really believe that the Cloud BL project is a huge step forward in the bill of lading process for our customers, and it is one of a number of innovations we are working on as a means of always enhancing our service delivery.”
