Due to strong demand on the Oceania region, MSC will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) to all cargo from Australia and New Zealand to Europe, UK, Africa, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Canada, Mexico, Caribbeans, Central America and South America (both coasts), Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Asia, as from 1 July 2024:
- For all Europe, UK, Africa, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Canada, Mexico, Caribbeans, Central America and South America (both coasts) PODs, the PSS will be charged at USD 1100/20’ and USD1600/40’ for all equipment types.
- For Middle East PODs, the PSS will be charged at USD 700/container for all equipment types.
- For Indian Subcontinent PODs, the PSS will be charged at USD 500/container for all equipment types.
- For Asia PODs, the PSS will be charged at USD 300/container for all equipment types.
