Peak Season Surcharge-Trade from West Med and Adriatic to USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Bahamas

Due to strong demand on the West Med and Adriatic to USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Bahamas trade, MSC will be increasing the current Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) by USD 250 USD/TEU. The new rate level will be as follows:

For USA and Puerto Rico and Bahamas PODs, as from 01 October 2024 (gate in date) until further notice, the PSS will be charged at:
• USD 600/20DV
• USD 1200/40DV-HC & REEFER

For Canada PODs, as from 01 October 2024 (sailing date) until further notice, the PSS will be charged at:
• USD 600/20DV
• USD 1200/40DV-HC & REEFER

For Mexico PODs, as from 01 October 2024 (sailing date) until further notice, the PSS will be charged at:
• USD 600/20DV
• USD 1200/40DV-HC & REEFER

Any other elements of the price, as indicated in the last EU Price Announcements for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
