Denmark

Connecting Denmark to the world

MSC Denmark was established in 1995 and has become a market-leading brand within the industry, both in Denmark and worldwide.

Container depots owned by MSC's logistics arm, MEDLOG, were opened in Aarhus and Copenhagen in 2019 and 2020. This was part of the company’s strategy to offer our customers reliable, easy and fast access to a wide range of equipment.

Our aim is to offer industry-leading, end-to-end tailored logistic solutions – cooperating with some of the best providers within their fields, such as trucking companies and providers of customs services.

Container Weighing (VGM)

All MSC local offices provide certified scales to record and verify container weight (verified gross mass or VGM) in line with Safety of Lives at Sea (SOLAS) regulations. VGM instructions are mandatory for all shipments for safety reasons and vessel operators can only load a container if its weight has been appropriately verified. Contact your local MSC team for more information and support.
